Abigail Barber’s background in both civil and criminal work, including matrimonial disputes, gives her a particularly broad range of expertise. She now specialises in cases involving asset forfeiture, money laundering, cash seizure, confiscation and property law, and related areas, appearing for the Crown, the defence, receivers and third parties.

Abigail’s recent experience includes confiscation, restraint and receivership cases in the High Court, Crown Court, Magistrates’ Court and Court of Appeal. Further areas of interest include defending major fraud and financial crime and prosecuting drug trafficking offences. She is in demand as a lecturer on proceeds of crime issues.
